How does a HAPIK birthday party work?
We'll begin setting up your party table 15 minutes to the start of the event, at which point you can show up with any additional decorations. At your selected party time, your guests will then proceed to have a 20 minute safety and equipment briefing with other climbers.
Then it's off to 1 hour of fun climbing with access to all of our fun climbing walls, ropes courses, and vertical challenges (exact activities depend on your specific location).
To add an extra dimension of competition to your party we offer an interactive digital climbing game. Your group will be split into 2 teams, who will then compete for the the highest points on our leader board.
After the activity is complete, your guests can join you for 40 minutes at your designated party table.
Then it's time for snack time with pizza, cake, and drinks, and therefore your birthday kid can open gifts, including a free ticket for a return visit from Hapik.
Good to know:
- No specific equipment is required, just athletic wear and closed-toe shoes.
- Safety equipment is provided.
- Recommended for kids 35 lbs and up to ensure the whole group can enjoy themselves.
- Packages begin from 8-10 children (depending on location), but additional kids can be added up to 1 week in advance.
- Optional add-ons may vary depending on the location (pizza, goody bags, cookie cake, cupcakes, charcuterie boards, soda, etc.).
- Free and secure lockers to store your belongings during the activity.

Hosted my daughters 8th birthday party here! Definitely would come back ! Everyone had so much fun even my 1 year was able to play in the small indoor play area for toddlers. Hapik South Gate was beyond amazing! The facility was booked for a birthday party event, and when I say it was beyond what I expected, I am very pleased! From the time my guest and I entered we had an amazing experience. The workers helped with setting up for the event firstly. They even provided necessities!
What an awesome experience we had for my daughter’s 7th bday party. Carl, the manager, worked hard to accommodate our last minute birthday party and went above and beyond to help myself and our guest. The kids had a blast and the staff were so very helpful and polite. They all left with big smiles and exhausted, it was great. Thank you Carl, and to the whole staff as well!

Can I bring my own food and decorations?
- Bringing your own cake is okay no matter which package you purchase.
- Outside hot food can be brought in, fees may apply depending on your package.
- You can bring your own balloons to decorate your dedicated party table (so long as your package includes one).
Do I need to tell my guests to bring anything to the party?
- Just themselves! As well as comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Sandals and slides are not safe for climbing.
- Thanks to our safe auto-belay system anyone can climb with confidence knowing that they're secure.
- A signed waiver is also required for everyone who attends the party, whether or not they plan on participating in the activity.
What's included in a HAPIK birthday package?
- That depends! Each of our 5 locations has their own birthday offerings that run from customizable and ala carte to all-inclusive.
- No matter what, access to all climbing attractions, ropes courses, and vertical challenges is included in the base price of each birthday package.
- The only additional activity is access to our interactive digital climbing game that allows parties to turn into competitions for climbers.
- Pizza, food, extra drinks, climbing themed gift bags, and more can be either purchased ala carte or are included in the package, depnding on your location.

Hosted an adult birthday party here and it was great!! The staff were very helpful and friendly and we did not feel rushed in their private party space at all. It was great for the kids and lots of space in the upstairs area for strollers and had a little fridge for us to use! All the climbing was scary but was still fun for the kids and adults!
