HAPIK is a new and fast-growing brand of fun climbing centers, a new concept in the world of active recreation.

We strive to offer our guests a fun, safe and unique vertical experience. When coming to one of our HAPIK centers, our customers have access to a wide range of fun climbing walls and challenges (fully secured through auto belays) as well as high rope courses for everyone.

Currently, we are seeking a Center Manager for our location in Firewheel, Garland, TX. HAPIK Firewheel is one of 3 centers in the USA (the other 2 are located in New York and LA) and there is more to come. It is a great time to join the HAPIK adventure!

Job description & key responsibilities

The Centre Manager is the Center Leader. S/he is accountable for everything that happens in the center and strives to bring the centre to the summit. The manager’s main responsibilities are to:

  • Ensure safety and center maintenance by enforcing all company and regulatory standards,
  • Help the business thrive and ensure outstanding customer satisfaction to meet the company’s goals,
  • Hire, train, manage and motivate the staff in order to create a strong team environment and a result-driven culture,
  • Deliver efficient day-to-day operations for the center, including cash and sales control, inventory management and center opening/closing procedures.

Education & qualifications

  • Work authorization required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Previous managerial / supervisory experience, preferably in the hospitality or recreation industry.
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Knowledge of rock climbing is a plus.

Pay & Benefits

  • $20 an hour, full-time
  • Health insurance
  • 80 hours accrued paid time off annually
  • Monthly performance bonus up to $500
